RISE for 1 Foundation creates life-changing opportunities for high-character youth, especially those from underserved communities, to train and compete in Spain’s professional soccer environments. We invest in players who lead with integrity, serve others, and dream big! Because every dream deserves a chance, and every athlete has potential to impact the world.
Why Soccer?
We chose soccer because it’s the world’s game. Unlike many sports, soccer requires little more than a ball and a patch of ground, making it accessible to kids in every corner of the globe, regardless of their background or resources. It transcends language and culture, creates instant connection, and teaches valuable life lessons like discipline, teamwork, and resilience. We also chose soccer because we’re connected to people within the professional game, including players, coaches, and leaders who share our vision and open doors that might otherwise stay closed. These relationships allow us to reach more kids, create real opportunities, and walk alongside them as they grow, not just as athletes, but as leaders.
Mission Statement
The mission of the RISE for 1 is to provide youth from underserved backgrounds and those who demonstrate leadership, volunteerism, or strong character with life-changing opportunities to train and compete in professional soccer environments around the world. We empower young people through global experiences that foster discipline, cultural awareness, and personal growth, on and off the field.
Our Programs
We provide high-character youth with the opportunity to train and compete in Spain’s professional soccer environments. Our program is designed for players who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and a heart to serve, whether they come from underserved communities or are model citizens making a difference where they are. Through international travel, elite training, cultural immersion, and spiritual and personal development, our goal is to help each athlete grow into the kind of person who leads both on and off the field.
